Community Service and Learning Opportunities
The Blizzard Foundation prides itself setting up community service and learning opportunities for youth baseball players to give back to their community. The foundation believes youth can be empowered to be outstanding community members. Since September of 2016, the Blizzard Foundation has provided over 850 hours of community service and learning opportunities for Minnesota baseball players. In the upcoming year, the Blizzard Foundation is looking to build on its relationships with the Miracle League and the Ronald McDonald House and expand connections with other local nonprofit organizations such as Matter (St. Louis Park), Hope Kids (Eden Prairie), Good in the Hood (St. Paul), Charlie Wittwer Wheelchair Foundation (Plymouth), Union Gospel Mission (St. Paul), Northeast Youth and Family Services (Shoreview) and more.
The following link are the current community service and learning opportunities for the upcoming year. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Blizzard Foundation director, Jeff Huth.
Annual Johnny Price IV Memorial Golf Tournament
The Blizzard Foundation wants to send sincere thanks and warm wishes to all that made the day possible. With 144 golfers, 33 hole sponsors, and a dinner hall at capacity, there were more than 400 people who made their way out to Brackett’s Crossing to show their support for the mission and vision of the Blizzard Foundation.
Join us next year on Monday, August 20th 2018 for the Third Annual Johnny Price IV Memorial Golf Tournament at Brackett's Crossing Country Club. Details to come!
