Do you know a baseball player who deserves to be recognized for achievements off the field? If so, send in a nomination to have that player honored as the Blizzard Foundation's Spotlight of the Month. The Blizzard Foundation is dedicated to encouraging baseball players who contribute positively to their community and others around them. The player selected will be featured on our website.

Nominations can be made for players in any baseball program whose regular actions represent a balance of a sportsmanship,  citizenship, and compassion.

Example of the desired criteria include:

  • Players that positively impact lives of others on and off the field
  • Players that display traits of positive leadership
  • Players that continue to give back to their community
  • Players that display a positive academic work ethic
  • Players that show gratitude, compassion, and empathy

It's important to note that accomplishments off the field are valued just as much as those achieve on the field. If you know a player who fits this description, be sure to fill out the form below to nominate them for the Blizzard Foundation's Spotlight of the Month.

Players will be selected by the 15th of the month and recognized by month's end.

Thank you for help in recognizing the players that make the game of baseball special.
